Why we process it and on what basis

  • Answering your requests and, if you wish, preparing a proposal: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Running the site and protecting it from abuse: our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Who we share it with

Data is processed by our authorised staff and by the providers that help us run the site, appointed as data processors:

  • Formspree (receiving messages sent through the contact form)
  • Google Analytics and Amplitude (statistics, only with consent; Amplitude with servers in the European Union)

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers may process data in the United States. In these cases the transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the standard contractual clauses provided for by Articles 45 and 46 GDPR.

How long we keep it

Messages received through the form are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and, if a business relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship and the legal obligations arising from it. Usage statistics are kept according to each tool's retention settings.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest and receive your data in a portable format (Articles 15-22 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Write to contact@pinelab.dev. If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
